2021 Annual Conference

Exploring New Horizons

Please join us online Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd as we celebrated 46 years of WAESOL.  In addition to the online sessions, WAESOL will be hosting optional viewing/networking hubs in various locations across WA State during the Saturday conference. Locations to be determined. Check back here for more information through the summer.

We are also, very pleased to have Dr. Suhanthie Motha, Director of the MATESOL Program in the English Department at the University of Washington, as one of our keynote speakers. She is the author of Race, Empire, and English Language Teaching, which won the American Educational Studies Association (AESA) Critics’ Choice Book Award and the Comparative and International Education Society’s (CIES) Globalization and Education SIG’s Book Award. Visit our Conference Sched platform to learn more about Dr. Motha.
